It is indeed an extremely exciting and promising time for the craft community! Why? The Craft Central has just opened its 5th store in the Mega Fashion Hall of SM Megamall! Hooraaay!
My artsy fartsy self was so happy when I received an invitation to attend the Opening or Exclusive PR Party of The Craft Central. I love arts and crafts so much. In fact, some of my hobbies are watercoloring, doodling, painting and making a planner or art journalism. I love being creative. Art is a way for me to relieve my stress. Ever heard of art therapy? Yup. It's a thing and it is very effective.
Okay, going back to The Craft Central, let me share to you how they started -- This little e-commerce shop started way back 2014 and it took a giant step into the real world when it opened its first retail store at Greenbelt 5 in 2016, and its second store at The Block, SM North Edsa in 2017. This 2018, it opened in three more locations, making its third shop a retail cafe at Ayala Vertis North and the fourth store at SM Mall of Asia. Last September 1, 2018, The Craft Central created another milestone by opening its 5th home at SM Megamall.
What is also amazing is that The Craft Central was once a home-based online store and is now a retail chain! Impressive right? The store's advocacy is to make arts and crafts more accessible to people, that is why it continues to grow and inspire people to get on their creative side.
What can you find in The Craft Central?
The Craft Central sells a wide array of arts and crafts materials. As what you can see, they got paint brushes, notebook, pens, calligraphy ink, calligraphy kits, washi tape, clips, watercolor, craft twine, needle kit, thread, pens, pouches, water bottles, scissors, planner, notepads... you name it.
So many calligraphy ink colors to choose from!
Look! Look! They even have glass straws! Let's avoid using plastic straws, dearies. Plastic did a huge harm to our environment, especially to our aquatic animals. Let's use these eco-friendly straws instead.
